Specialized Crux
In a distant past when Hennie stamsnijder and Ronald Liboton still plodded through the meadow with the bike on their necks, it was called the "cyclocross bike". In the days of Adrie van de Poel, it became the "cyclocross bike" and today it is classed among the gravel bikes.
The biggest difference from, say, a Diverge is the weight and stiffness of this model. The Crux is the lightest "Gravelbike" in the world. At just 725 grams for a frame, it is a true featherweight.
The steep and therefore somewhat aggressive steering head angle makes for razor-sharp handling, the swingarm is built a bit shorter and this makes it more direct and faster when accelerating. This sets it apart from the somewhat 'lazier' geometry of the Diverge and makes it a real race monster.
Not for everyone! But for those who like to cycle fast and consider weight more important than comfort, the Crux is the only right choice!
