The Roval Control World Cup rear wheel weighs 546g and is designed to deliver the same speed and durability as the front wheel, but with extra power for the rear. Like the front wheel, this wheel features a carbon rim with an internal width of 28.5 mm, ensuring stability and grip even on the most technical XC courses. The tubeless design reduces the risk of punctures and allows riding at lower pressures for better traction. The Roval Low Flange Mountain Hub at the rear uses DT Swiss Ceramic bearings, which facilitates rotation and optimises performance. The DT Swiss Ratchet EXP (36T) freewheel mechanism ensures fast response and efficient shifting, while the 20 spoke configuration with Two-cross lacing pattern contributes to a sturdy and durable construction. This rear wheel is also compatible with Centrelock disc brakes and has a maximum tyre pressure of 40 psi.
