MX Sport last - This last has a larger, wider toe box than our Comfort last while offering more foot control through the heel and saddle of the foot. The resulting fit is designed for aggressive riding and remains comfortable to wear all day. Ideal for couriers, adventure cyclists and anyone who wears their cycling shoes for long periods of time.

Tip for keeping your shoes waterproof: the upper is treated at the factory with a Durable Water Resistant (DWR) coating that will wear off over time and use. To ensure that the upper of the shoe does not absorb any water that might enter the shoe, as with many other water-resistant products, it is recommended to reapply the upper with a DWR spray that is readily available at most shops that sell outdoor products. We recommend reapplying the coating 1-2 times a year for moderate riders and for intensive use or daily commuting riders, at least after every 2-3 extremely wet rides. For best results, follow the DWR manufacturer's reapplication instructions.

Sole
Supergrip Enduro sole with Ice Lock non-slip studs. The MX146 has not only Lake's Legendary Fiberglass injected nylon sole, but also one of the most technically advanced rubber soles. The Supergrip rubber sole features ICE LOCK tread inserts, which are vertically injected micro glass fibres that grip on almost all surfaces. This gives you a wet-weather cycling shoe that is sturdy and stable in all conditions.

Uppers
The upper is made of softshell fabric, water-repellent microfibre, Thinsulate 200gr insulation and a waterproof membrane, making this a highly water-resistant cycling shoe that is great in a variety of conditions. Clarino microfibre offers great durability and the suppleness of leather at a significant weight reduction.

Closure
Mid Power M4 Cartridge Sole-mounted BOA dial excels in ice, dirt and other challenging environments and is designed to be easily adjusted with gloves on. The medium-capacity dial combines durability and locking power to withstand intense force and impact, without compromising on fit. Combined with Click-Fit quick release, it provides easier entry and exit.
