CX/TX Sport - The higher cadence and longer ride times characteristic of road cycling require excellent foot control to avoid hotspots and numbness. With a much tighter fit than all our off-road lasts, our Sport last securely surrounds the foot to prevent unwanted movement. This last has a precisely fitting toe box, high foot arch and a mid-width ball seam.

Tip to keep your shoes waterproof: the upper is treated at the factory with a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) coating that will wear off over time and use. To ensure that the shoe's upper does not absorb any water that might enter the shoe, as with many other water-resistant products, it is recommended to reapply the upper with a DWR spray that is readily available at most shops that sell outdoor products. We recommend reapplying the coating 1-2 times a year for moderate riders and for heavy use or daily commuting riders, at least after every 2-3 extremely wet rides. For best results, follow the DWR manufacturer's reapplication instructions.
