From the beginning of the design process of the Torch 3.0 Road shoe, a goal was to create a performance offering that was as feature-packed as any other premium shoe. However, the challenge was to get this done at an acceptable price. To achieve this, three strategically placed materials on the upper were used and welded together: TPU and mesh on the front and synthetic leather on the back. This makes for a more comfortable and supportive front of the shoe. A rigid back and heel cup, meanwhile, lock your heel and ensure that all your wattage goes into the pedals as efficiently as possible. This refined upper is combined with our legendary FACT carbon fibre sole to further ensure efficient power transfer. Finally, we've complemented the Torch 3.0 with two Boa® S2-SV Snap dials for zonal closure and a precise fit that ensures long-lasting comfort.
- Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to enhance power, increase efficiency and reduce the risk of injury by optimising hip, knee and foot alignment. FACT™ carbon composite sole and torsion box construction are directionally stiff for excellent power transfer: Stiffness index 8.5.
